Scientists from the N.D. Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the M.I. Platov South Russian State Polytechnic University for the first time applied high-resolution mass spectrometry to study the evolution of Pd/N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) complexes under close to catalytic conditions.

The scientific journal “Applied Catalysis A: General” published an article by scientists from the Scientific Research Institute “Nanotechnologies and New Materials” of SRSPU (NPI) “Tuning selectivity in low-temperature Fischer-Tropsch synthesis by applying gas recycle mode.” The work describes a new approach for the synthesis of heavy waxes (ceresin) and long-chain olefins from synthesis gas on a cobalt Fischer-Tropsch synthesis catalyst developed at the Scientific Research Institute NTHM.
