June 6 at the Institute of Organic Chemistry. N. D. Zelinsky RAS, a thesis was defended for the degree of candidate of chemical sciences Soromotin Vitaliy Nikolaevich on the topic: “Deactivation of Co-Al2O3 / SiO2 catalysts for the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis: causes and consequences”. Soromotin Vitaliy Nikolaevich defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of chemical sciences in the specialty 1.4.14 - kinetics and catalysis.

NOVOCHERKASSK SCIENTISTS TALKED ABOUT THEIR DEVELOPMENTS

Employees of the Research Institute "Nanotechnologies and New Materials" took part in the work of the VII All-Russian Scientific Youth School-Conference "Chemistry under the sign of SIGMA: research, innovation, technology", which took place on May 16-18, 2023 in the city of Omsk. The main organizers of the conference were the Central Scientific and Technical Institute of the Institute of Catalysis of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Catalysis of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Omsk State Technical University and the Competence Center of the National Technology Initiative “Hydrogen as the basis of a low-carbon economy”. The school-conference included three busy days, during which 113 oral reports of young scientists from 11 Russian cities, including the city of Novocherkassk, were heard.
