Chemists of SRSPU (NPI) take part in the XVI Chinese-Russian Symposium “New Materials and Technologies”, organized by the Russian Academy of Sciences (Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science named after A.A. Baikov RAS) and Nonferrous Metals Society of China.

On October 8-13, 2023, the XXV International Conference on Chemical Reactors “ChemReactor-25” was held in the city of Tyumen, organized by the world-class West Siberian Interregional Scientific and Educational Center together with the Institute of Catalysis named after. G.K. Boreskov of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Tyumen State University and the NTI Center “Hydrogen as the basis of a low-carbon economy”. The conference program was devoted to the fundamental aspects and practical applications of catalytic processes and chemical reactors, as well as the development of new highly efficient technologies.

On October 2-6, 2023, the X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Extraction, Treatment, Transport of Oil and Gas” was held, which was held by the Institute of Oil and Gas Chemistry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Siberian city of Tomsk. Participating in the event was a representative of the Faculty of Technology of SRSPU (NPI), Ph.D. Saliev Alexey Nikolaevich.

The scientific journal “Catalysts” published an article by employees of the Research Institute “Nanotechnologies and New Materials”: Selective Synthesis of a Gasoline Fraction from CO and H2 on a Co-SiO2/ZSM-5/Al2O3 Catalyst. The journal Catalysts is included in Q1 (General Environmental Science) and has a five-year impact factor of 4.2.

On September 14–16, 2023, the Terra-Polytech Hackathon was held in Novocherkassk as part of the implementation of the Priority 2030 development program. The goal of the competition was the formation of the cyber-physical information space of Terra-Polytech.
