As part of the X International Conference "Automated Electric Drive", a round table meeting was held on October 5 at the YURSPU (NPI) on the topic: "The state and prospects of youth scientific laboratories".

Today, the Director General of JSC "InEnergy Group of Companies" A.M. Kashin visited the YURGPU (NPI). Alexey Mikhailovich held a meeting with our chemists, got acquainted with the work of the Research Institute "Nanotechnology and New Materials", chemical laboratories.

Within the framework of the forum, the annual Youth Innovation Convention of the Rostov region was held, during which a competition of scientific papers was held. Applications of seventy–two finalists of the convention were presented in three nominations - "Best innovative idea", "Best innovative project" and "Best innovative product".

On December 19, the final competition-conference of the "SMART GUY" program of the Innovation Promotion Foundation was held in Rostov-on-Don, during which young scientists and innovators of the Don presented their developments. Among them are 11 projects of Novocherkassk polytechnics.

Today in Rostov-on-Don, within the walls of the Southern Federal University, a solemn awarding ceremony was held for the winners of the "SMART GUY" program from the Rostov region, including five young scientists of the YURSPU (NPI).
