Another joint publication of Novocherkassk Polytechnics and scientists of the N.D. Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry, headed by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Chemical Sciences V.P. Ananikov, was published.
Today, a new laboratory for physico-chemical studies of the properties of catalysts has opened in the YURGPU (NPI). Expensive equipment was purchased for her at the university's own expense – a synchronous thermal analysis device combined with a mass spectrometer. This is a huge achievement on the way of the university's development as a research center, which will certainly bring our university closer to the largest research sites, including international ones, in terms of capabilities!
The day of July 6 at the university was devoted to the development of the scientific and innovative potential of the university. The directors of the Research Institute were invited to a meeting with the Rector of YURSPU (NPI) Yu.I. Razorenov and Vice-Rector for Innovation O.A. Kravchenko to summarize the results of activities for the first half of 2020, outline development prospects and make proposals for the development of scientific and innovative activities. The meeting was crowned by an excursion to the Center for Collective Use, where a new laboratory was presented to scientists.
The political council of the local branch of the United Russia party visited the YURGPU (NPI) on December 28. The purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the current state of the first university in the South of Russia and its increasing research, educational, and infrastructural capabilities. The rector of YURGPU (NPI) Yu.I. Razorenov conducted a tour of the university campus for the guests.
