THE ARTICLE OF OUR CHEMISTS HAS BEEN PUBLISHED IN A MAJOR SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL

Another joint publication of Novocherkassk Polytechnics and scientists of the N.D. Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry, headed by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Chemical Sciences V.P. Ananikov, was published.

A joint conceptual review of a group of scientists "The key role of R-NHC couplings (R = C, H, heteroatom) and M-NHC bond cleavage in the evolution of M/NHC complexes and formation of catalytically active species (The key role of R-NHC bonds (R = C, H, heteroatom) and breaking of M-NHC bonds in the evolution of M/NHC complexes and the formation of catalytically active particles)" published in the international journal "Chemical Science" (impact factor 9.556). Together with the academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and colleagues from IOH, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor V.M. Chernyshev, representing our university, worked on the article.

- For the outside world, this is the first comprehensive concept of M/NHC catalysis by complexes, for us it is a turning point showing the successful completion of the work cycle and the transition to the next stage, - commented Valentin Pavlovich Ananikov on the results of joint work with Novocherkassk scientists. - For many scientists who are engaged in M/NHC catalysis, and who are not yet familiar with the dynamics of these systems, after reading our article, the world will not be the same. I was very glad to work with the team of the YURGPU (NPI) together on this article!

- The article accepted for publication is a review summarizing the results of our joint fundamental research of the last five years devoted to a new generation of catalysts - metal-complex catalysts, - said Viktor Mikhailovich Chernyshev.

This is not the first joint publication of the two teams in the journal "Chemical Science" and, as all the authors are sure, definitely not the last! Creative cooperation between chemists of the IOH RAS and the YURGPU (NPI) is growing stronger from year to year and constantly brings new noticeable results.
