SCIENTISTS DISCUSSED HYDROGEN TECHNOLOGIES

Yesterday, the conference of the NTI Competence Center "Hydrogen as the basis of a low-carbon economy" ended in Sheregesh. The head of the Department of Electrochemistry and Functional Materials of the Research Institute "NTNM" Nina Smirnova presented YURSPU (NPI) at the event.

The staff of the Research Institute "Nanotechnologies and New Materials" took part in the work of the Second School of Young Scientists "Electrochemical devices: processes, materials, technologies", which was organized from November 28 to November 30 in Novosibirsk Akademgorodok, on the basis of the Institute of Solid State Chemistry and Mechanochemistry SB RAS.

TWO PROJECTS OF POLYTECHNICS ARE AMONG THE WINNERS OF THE RNF COMPETITION

The results of the 2022 competition of new projects of small individual scientific groups have been summed up. Within its framework, the expert council of the Russian Science Foundation, based on the results of the examination, selected 2017 projects submitted by scientific groups of up to 4 people. The participants of the competition are teams from universities, research institutes, production companies from all regions of the Russian Federation. Among the winners are scientists of the Research Institute "NTNM" of the YURSPU (NPI).

On November 16, a scientific seminar with reports by young scientists and graduate students was held at the Research Institute “NTNM” of the South Russian State Polytechnic University of YURSPU (NPI).

A SCIENTIFIC CONSORTIUM WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF NPI CHEMISTS RECEIVED A NEW GRANT

At the end of October, following a meeting of the competition commission for the selection of recipients of grants for state support of the centers of the National Technological Initiative on the basis of educational institutions of higher education and scientific organizations, a list of projects that will become recipients of state grants for implementation was named. Among the selected ones is the project "Technologies of mobile energy storage", in the implementation of which scientists of the YURSPU (NPI) are also taking part.
