The teacher of the South Russian State Polytechnic University was among the winners of the contest "The best young teacher of the Southern Federal District".
The events dedicated to the Day of Russian Science, which the country celebrated on February 8, were held at the YURSPU (NPI) in a rich, but - in a working atmosphere. In commemoration of the professional holiday of all scientists, 4 new scientific laboratories were inaugurated at the university on February 12. The event dedicated to this event was attended by Rector Yu.I. Razorenov, scientific director of the University N.I. Gorbatenko, Vice-Rector for Innovation O.A. Kravchenko, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs S.N. Chebotarev, deans of faculties, teaching staff.
The laboratory of catalysis and catalytic reactions is successfully operating at the Research Institute "Nanotechnology and New Materials". Currently, the laboratory is expanding its "powers" and has begun to create unique installations for oil and gas processing that are not inferior in their characteristics to world analogues.
The next scheduled certification of graduate students of YURSTU (NPI) took place. About a hundred people took part in it - graduate students-state employees and those who receive a scholarship named after N.N. Zinin. The attestation commission was headed by the scientific director of the University N.I. Gorbatenko (chairman of the commission), the vice-rector of YURSPU (NPI) for innovation O.A. Kravchenko and the head of the Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies N.A. Vilbitskaya (deputy chairmen of the commission). The commission also included leading scientists of the university in the areas of research of graduate students.
The stay in Novocherkassk of the participants of the meeting of the working subgroup of the State Council of the Russian Federation "Regulatory regulation of industry and improvement of the procurement system" continued with a visit to the South Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI) named after M.I. Platov. Here, in the walls of the first university of the south of Russia, the distinguished guests were presented with the latest revolutionary developments of Novocherkassk scientists.
