The teacher of the South Russian State Polytechnic University was among the winners of the contest "The best young teacher of the Southern Federal District".

The name of the associate professor of the Department of "Chemical Technologies", senior researcher of the Research Institute "Nanotechnology and New Materials" Roman Yakovenko is widely known in the team of Novocherkassk polytechnics. The project of our young scientist in 2018 received grant support from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. More recently, Roman Evgenievich became the winner of the competition for a grant from the President of the Russian Federation for state support of young Russian scientists - candidates of sciences.

And again - good news: Roman Yakovenko was recognized as one of the winners of the contest "The best young teacher of the Southern Federal District"!  

The competition, established by PJSC CB "Center-invest" and the Endowment Fund "Education and Science of the Southern Federal District", is held annually among teachers of universities of the Southern Federal District nominated by scholarship students of the fund.

It is a wonderful practice when the candidate of a contestant-teacher, in fact, is nominated by the best scholarship students. Thus, the undoubted pedagogical talent of the teacher is recognized. Then the students' opinion is supported by information about the scientific achievements of the nominee, and as a result, the Center-invest bank and the Endowment Fund "Education and Science of the Southern Federal District" form a list of winners - really the best professionals in their field.

- It's nice that your candidacy is being put forward by students, - Roman Evgenievich shares his impressions. - It's also nice that the bank and the Foundation "sum up" the merits and appreciate the time spent on scientific and pedagogical work. I was a scholarship holder of the Center-Invest Bank during my postgraduate studies, so it is especially joyful to be among the awardees again.

The winners of the contest "The best young teacher of the Southern Federal District" receive a significant incentive - a cash grant in the amount of 100,000 rubles. But still, the main thing in this competition remains its intangible side - the high assessment of students.
