On November 16, a scientific seminar with reports by young scientists and graduate students was held at the Research Institute “NTNM” of the South Russian State Polytechnic University of YURSPU (NPI).

The results of the Research Institute's work were presented. Postgraduate student of the Department of Metal Complex Catalysis (head Chernyshev V.M.) Chernenko A. Y. made a report "Palladium complexes with N-heterocyclic carbenes: reaction of O-NHC combination and its effect on catalysis". The report of Olga Papeta, PhD student, research engineer at the Research Institute "NTNM", "Synthesis of hydrocarbons from CO and H2 on catalysts with hierarchical zeolites" (head Yakovenko R.E.) was presented during the seminar. Postgraduate student of the Department of Electrochemistry and Functional Materials (head Smirnova N.V.) Molodtsova T. A. made a report on the results of the publication of the article "One-step access to bifunctional γ-Fe2O3/δ-FeOOH electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction reaction and acetaminophen sensing".

Achievements in the field of metal-complex catalysis, heterogeneous catalysis and electrochemistry, hydrogen energy, carbon neutrality technologies and low-tonnage chemistry will expand the scientific horizons of Research Institute staff, graduate students and students of YURGPU (NPI).
