18th International Festival of Youth Scientific and Technical Creativity "Ot Vinta!" opened today at the resort. It will be held at the Rosa Hall ICC from 27 to 29 April.
The project is included in the list of official events of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia and will bring together young inventors from more than 80 regions of our country and more than 30 countries of the world.
The main venue for the festival was the Rosa Hall multifunctional complex. Ten thousand sq. meters, there is an exposition of youth design works, an industry area of achievements of Russian industry and engineering centers, in the formation of which all industry departments of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation took part. For the first time in the history of the complex, its premises were completely refurbished, becoming a single interactive space.
The delegation of the Rostov Region was headed by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Energy of the region Gurgen Malkhasyan. Schoolchildren, students and young scientists from the Southern Federal University, the Don State Technical University, the South Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI) named after M.I. Platov, the Innovation Agency of the Rostov Region and the Regional Center for Technical Creativity of Students presented 23 projects in the field of aviation, agriculture, medicine, computer technology, etc.
Ivan Zubkov, a young scientist from the Nanotechnologies and New Materials Research Institute, is participating in the exhibition from SRSPU (NPI). The exhibition presents the Catalytic lab-scale flow-through unit "FTU" – an automated setup based on a mini-reactor with a fixed bed with a volume of up to 1.5 cm3.” Designed and engineered to perform kinetic studies, catalyst property evaluation, catalytic process modeling, catalyst and sorbent stability testing.
Veronika Milinchuk, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Southern Federal District, Veniamin Kondratyev, Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Victoria Soboleva, Head of the Festival, and Kirill Litvinov, Mentor, spoke at the official opening ceremony of the Festival.
