On June 8, thirty residents of our region arrived at the building of the Rostov Public Assembly, where they were greeted by Governor V.Y. Golubev. The career path and service of each of these thirty people have already been marked with orders, medals, honorary titles. The governor drew attention to this, addressing the audience: "The formation and development of a modern country cannot be imagined without the contribution of everyone who is present in this hall today. Each of you has contributed to the fact that you can be proud of the achievements of your native land with your work."

The honorary title and gratitude of the President of Russia were awarded to workers of culture and higher education of the Rostov region. Among them are three employees of the South Russian State Polytechnic University - representatives of the glorious galaxy of chemists. For merits in scientific and pedagogical activity, training of highly qualified specialists, the gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation was announced to the professor To Viktor Mikhailovich Chernyshev, Professor Alexander Petrovich Savostyanov and Professor Nina Vladimirovna Smirnova (Nina Vladimirovna could not attend the ceremony, but a little later the honorary award will definitely be presented to her).

- Today's event is certainly a recognition of the merits of our university at the highest level. - Alexander Petrovich Savostyanov noted. - What our team has done is just the beginning.
