Three Novocherkassk polytechnics became winners of the competition for grants from the President of the Russian Federation for state support of young Russian scientists - candidates of sciences.
In the field of "Chemistry, new materials and chemical technologies", the grantees were Alexandra Borisovna Kuriganova with the work "Formation of nanoparticles of platinum and tin alloys under conditions of unsteady electrolysis and tolerant electrocatalysts based on them for low-temperature fuel cells" and Roman Evgenievich Yakovenko with the work "Development of technology and manufacture of a pilot batch of a multifunctional catalyst for the synthesis of winter and arctic diesel fuel from synthesis gas".
In the field of "Technical and Engineering sciences" the work was supported Angela Alexandrovna Danshina "Intelligent control of lifting robotic mechanisms".
According to the conditions, works "related to the development of the topics of candidate's dissertations, characterized by significant scientific novelty, testifying to the significant contribution of young scientists to the development of science and technology and their creative talent, as well as related to the preparation of doctoral dissertations" can be submitted to the competition.
The amount of the grant of a young scientist - candidate of sciences is 600 thousand rubles per year and is allocated for a 2-year period to finance the costs of conducting fundamental and applied scientific research.
