Yesterday, the conference of the NTI Competence Center "Hydrogen as the basis of a low-carbon economy" ended in Sheregesh. The head of the Department of Electrochemistry and Functional Materials of the Research Institute "NTNM" Nina Smirnova presented YURSPU (NPI) at the event.
The Competence Center was established at the end of 2021 and unites partners in key areas of development of hydrogen technologies: production and isolation of hydrogen, its transportation, storage and use. Our university has been a member of this organization since its formation. Polytechnic scientists take an active part in the implementation of the strategic tasks facing the center's team. This work of the staff of TF YURGPU (NPI) is one of the most important tasks of our university within the framework of the implementation of the stratproject "Hydrogen Energy Systems" (the program "Priority 2030").
At the conference of the NTI Competence Center "Hydrogen as the basis of a low-carbon economy" Nina Vladimirovna Smirnova presented a report "The experience of the development of YURGPU (NPI) in the field of hydrogen energy". She spoke about the successes and achievements of university laboratories working with this topic, as well as plans for the coming year.
