The staff of the Research Institute "Nanotechnologies and New Materials" took part in the work of the Second School of Young Scientists "Electrochemical devices: processes, materials, technologies", which was organized from November 28 to November 30 in Novosibirsk Akademgorodok, on the basis of the Institute of Solid State Chemistry and Mechanochemistry SB RAS.
On the subject of the School, which covered current problems in the field of energy, solid state chemistry and materials science, Novocherkassk Polytechnics - Candidate of Chemical Sciences Anna Ulyankina and postgraduate student Tatiana Molodtsova presented the results of their research supported by two grants from the Russian Science Foundation: 21-79-00079 "Technological aspects of electrochemical production of powdered hybrid materials based on tungsten oxide and their application in processes ecological photocatalysis" and 20-79-10063 "New photoelectrochemical devices and technologies for hydrogen energy".
Our young scientists are employees of the Research Institute "Nanotechnology and New Materials" of the Department of Electrochemistry and Functional Materials. Under the guidance of Nina Vladimirovna Smirnova, Doctor of Chemistry, they are actively working in the field of electrochemical synthesis of nanomaterials for photo/electrochemical applications.
- We have attended several master classes in the field of electrochemistry, which are certainly useful for young scientists, - Anna Ulyankina shared her impressions. - The event has become an indispensable platform for us and all its participants, where there is an exchange of experience, the formation of the necessary professional competencies for scientific research and stable ties with colleagues from other cities and organizations.
