The Russian Science Foundation summed up the results of three competitions at once. According to the results of one of them, three applications of Novocherkassk polytechnics - young chemical scientists - were supported at once.
K.E. Shepelenko with the project "New methods of selective functionalization of furan compounds-platforms based on metal-catalyzed C-H and C-C activation reactions" can apply for grant support of the RNF for the event "Conducting initiative research by young scientists" of the Presidential Research Projects Program. The projects of B.M. Goltsman "Study of the processes of structure formation of porous glass materials incorporated by carbon nanophase" and A.A. Goltsman were also supported. A.A. Ulyankina "Technological aspects of electrochemical production of powdered hybrid materials based on tungsten oxide and their application in environmental photocatalysis processes".
The competition was aimed at supporting young people under the age of 33 who defended their PhD theses. The grant amount is 1.5 million rubles. The competition received 1.4 thousand applications, 469 projects were supported by the expert council. 11 applications were submitted for the competition from the YURGPU (NPI), three of them were supported.
Congratulations to our young chemists and wish them a great and successful scientific career!
