POLYTECHNICIANS DISCUSSED THE PROSPECTS OF HYDROGEN ENERGY WITH COLLEAGUES

On August 23-25, the strategic session "Hydrogen Energy: Promising Products for New Markets" was held in Moscow at the site of the Center for Hydrogen Technologies of AFK Sistema. Representatives of the Technological Faculty of the SRSPU (NPI) took part in the event.

Within the framework of the Strategic Session, a presentation of scientific projects implemented by the Center for Hydrogen Energy in cooperation with leading scientific and educational organizations of the Russian Federation took place; youth school-competition of scientific works in the field of hydrogen technologies; round table on the topic: “Prospects for the development of hydrogen technologies in the Russian Federation and the place of AFK Sistema in this development.

The representative of our university, Doctor of Chemical Sciences. Professor of the Department of Chemical Technologies Nina Vladimirovna Smirnova spoke at the strategic session with a report "Solid polymer fuel cells: features of design and operation."

Nikita Faddeev, junior researcher at the Research Laboratory “New Composite and Functional Materials with Special Properties”, presented his report “Development of Metal Bipolar Plates for Fuel Cells with a Proton Exchange Membrane for Mobile Power Supply Systems” to the attention of the audience. His colleague Tatyana Molodtsova made a presentation "Nanoscale structures based on indium oxide polymorphs: synthesis and control of photoelectrochemical activity".

Within the framework of the youth school-competition of scientific works in the field of hydrogen technologies, T.A. Molodtsova was awarded a diploma of the winner.
