POLYTECHNICIANS DISCUSSED CATALYSIS WITH COLLEAGUES IN SUZDAL

Novocherkassk scientists spoke at the VII All-Russian Scientific Conference "Actual Problems of Theory and Practice of Heterogeneous Catalysts and Adsorbents".

Employees of the Research Institute "Nanotechnologies and New Materials" took part in the conference, which took place from June 28 to July 1 in Suzdal. Traditionally, the organizers were the Ivanovo State University of Chemistry and Technology, the Institute of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry. A.N. Frumkin of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Physical Chemistry.

The event takes place every year and becomes a platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge between leading research groups, specialists, representatives of catalyst manufacturers and chemical enterprises. The scientists of our university - Ivan Zubkov, junior researcher at the NTNM Research Institute, and engineer Andrey Volik - presented the results of their research carried out within the framework of the state task "Catalytic processing of carbon-containing materials into synthetic motor fuels, isoparaffin and poly-alpha-olefin oils" and the strategic project "Scientific -innovation cluster "Contract R&D Center" of the SRSPU (NPI) Development Program in the implementation of the program of strategic academic leadership "Priority-2030".

I.N. Zubkov in his report “Influence of pressure on the Co-Al2O3/SiO2 catalyst in the flow-circulation mode of operation” showed the possibility of expanding the range of technological parameters for the implementation of the Fischer-Tropsch process and the production of valuable chemicals. A. V. Volik in his report presented the results of a study of catalysts based on group VIII metals in the reaction of ammonia decomposition. This direction allows us to obtain environmentally friendly hydrogen fuel from a safe and efficient storage environment, which brings us closer to the concept of "Green Energy".

The speeches of our scientists were awarded diplomas for the best reports presented within the framework of the events of the VII All-Russian Scientific Conference "Actual Problems of Theory and Practice of Heterogeneous Catalysts and Adsorbents".

We wish our employees to enjoy the process of scientific creativity, rejoice at every step towards achieving the goal and, of course, new successes!
