On May 30, the results of the university internal grant competition "Hydrogen" were summed up.
As part of the implementation of the university development program for 2021-2030, the "Hydrogen" competition was held at SRSPU (NPI).
The project "Development of a method for increasing the CO-tolerance of the membrane-electrode block of a low-temperature fuel cell" was recognized as the winner, the project manager is Nikita Andreevich Fadeev.
It is expected that when performing research work, the project team will solve the following tasks:
- analysis of the state of the art mitigation strategies for the use of fuel containing carbon monoxide impurities in the operation of a low temperature fuel cell;
- study of the influence of the composition and parameters of the supply of a hydrogen-containing mixture on the stability of the performance characteristics of the membrane-electrode unit
low temperature fuel cell;
- development of a method for restoring the operating characteristics of the membrane-electrode unit of the LTE during its operation when using hydrogen-containing gas of various degrees of purity as a fuel.
