PLUS THREE RNF GRANTS IN THE SCIENTISTS’ PIGGY BANK!

The results of the competitions of the Presidential Program of the Russian Science Foundation for research projects in 2023 for obtaining grants for the events "Conducting initiative research by young scientists" and "Conducting research by scientific groups led by young scientists", as well as the competition for the extension of projects of scientific groups led by young scientists, supported in 2020, have been summed up . Three projects of our scientists are among the best!

In the competition "Conducting research by scientific groups under the guidance of young scientists" of the Presidential Program of Research Projects implemented by leading scientists, including young scientists, we have three winning projects at once, all of them are presented by scientists from the Research Institute "Nanotechnologies and New Materials" at SRSPU ( NPI).

Grants were given to the following studies: "Directional electrochemical synthesis of materials for photoinduced catalytic processes: hardware and technological solutions" under the supervision of senior researcher Anna Ulyankina; "New Catalysts for Deep Processing of Hydrocarbon Gases into Synthetic Hydrocarbons and Products Based on Them" under the leadership of Roman Yakovenko, Director of the Research Institute "NTNM"; "Development of new methods for the selective functionalization of C-H and C-C bonds of heterocyclopentadienes under conditions of metal complex catalysis" under the supervision of senior researcher Konstantin Shepelenko. In this direction, a total of 254 projects of youth scientific groups were noted, implementation is envisaged until 2026 with funding of up to 6 million rubles annually.

We congratulate our chemists on this victory and wish them successful implementation of their projects!
