Today, Viktor Chernyshev, a professor at YURGPU (NPI), received a diploma on awarding the title of "Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences" from the hands of the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Sergeev! Viktor Mikhailovich was awarded the honorary title of professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences by the first of the polytechnics. Moreover, our scientist is the first chemist in the Southern Federal District to receive this high status!

Thanks to the scientific partnership with the institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences and, in particular, the N.D. Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences (and personally Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.P. Ananikov), a group of scientists of the YURSPU (NPI) under the leadership of Professor Chernyshev successfully implemented a number of major scientific projects in the field of inorganic chemistry.
