Polytechnics take part in the II Congress of Young Scientists, which takes place from December 1 to 3 in the federal territory of Sirius.

The University is represented by the Director of the Research Institute "Nanotechnology and New Materials, PhD, Roman Yakovenko and Dean of the Faculty of Geology, Mining and Oil and Gas, PhD Alexander Tretyak. Within the framework of the Congress, 140 sessions, meetings and lectures on various aspects of the development of science in Russia have been organized.

The organizers of the Congress are the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the Coordinating Council for Youth Affairs in the Scientific and Educational Spheres of the Presidential Council for Science and Education, the Roscongress Foundation, the ANO National Priorities.
