The ending Year of Science and Technology has brought another joyful news – the projects of six young scientists of YURGPU (NPI) have been supported at the federal level.
The names of the winners of the 2022-2024 competition for the right to receive a scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation for young scientists and graduate students have become known. Out of 445 applications received from all over the country, four submitted by Novocherkassk polytechnics were supported.
The beneficiaries were B.M. Goltsman - "Study of the features of creating a highly porous structure of alkali-activated geopolymers based on ash and slag waste of thermal power plants", I.N. Zubkov - "Development of technology for catalytic conversion of CO2 into synthetic hydrocarbons and higher alcohols", A.A. Ulyankina - "New hybrid materials and photoelectrochemical processes for hydrogen energy", A.M. Lankin - "Creation of the fundamental foundations of predictive diagnostics and technical control for intelligent control of complex mechatronic systems based on tensor methodology and diacoptics".
The grants of the President of the Russian Federation (the 2022 competition) went to two scientists of our university.
According to the competition of young candidates, in the section "Chemical Sciences", K.E. Shepelenko's project was supported - "Metal complex and photocatalysis as a highly effective tool for deep processing of plant raw materials within the framework of the concept of a closed carbon cycle".
In the competition of scientific schools, in the section "Social and humanitarian sciences", the winner was the project K.V. Vodenko - "Academic leadership in the development of transprofessional identity and the formation of a new economy market in the context of digitalization and regionalization of higher education."
