Once every six months, before the session, our university has a commission on the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel in postgraduate and doctoral studies - this decision was made by the Academic Council of the YURSPU (NPI).
The chairman of the commission was appointed the scientific director of the University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, head of the Department of "Information and Measuring Systems and Technologies" N.I. Gorbatenko, also on a permanent basis the commission includes the vice-rector for Innovation, Doctor of Technical Sciences, head of the Department of "Power Supply and Electric Drive" O.A. Kravchenko, head of the Department of Postgraduate and doctoral studies of YURSPU (NPI), Candidate of Technical Sciences N.A. Vilbitskaya and leading professors of the university in the relevant areas of training.
Over the past week, three meetings of attestation commissions were held, at which graduate students of thirteen areas of training made reports. In total, 55 graduate students of our university presented reports on the progress and results of their work on dissertations.
- Within the framework of such meetings, young scientists have the opportunity not only to talk about their own research, but also to significantly broaden their horizons by hearing reports from classmates and senior comrades, to participate in the discussion, to get an idea of the methods used, - says the head of the Department of Postgraduate and doctoral Studies of the YURSPU (NPI) N.A. Vilbitskaya. - This leads to the formation of new interdisciplinary ties and even cooperation in the postgraduate community.
The most successful this time were the works of Anna Ulyankina (4th year, supervisor - N.V. Smirnov), Lyubov Yatsenko (3rd year, supervisor - E.A. Yatsenko), Andrey Kramorov and Alexander Batyukov (2nd year, supervisor - A.V. Pavlenko), Ivan Zubkov and Vitaly Saramotin (2nd year, supervisor - A.P. Savostyanov), Lermont Altunyan (3rd year, supervisor - G.Ya. Pyatibratov), Ilya Lebedinsky (3rd year, supervisor - P.V. Sirotin).
