From September 15 to 18, Moscow hosted the 4th International School-Conference of Young Scientists "Topical problems of modern electrochemistry and electrochemical materials science" (ICYS - 2019) - "Actual problems of modern electrochemistry and electrochemical materials science". It was organized by the Moscow State University and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. The young scientists of the Research Institute "Nanotechnologies and New Materials" presented at the conference.
The conference is traditionally held in English, and world-class scientists from the USA, China, India, France, Germany, Belgium, and Russia present their reports at it. The staff of the Research Institute "Nanotechnology and New Materials" are regular participants of this scientific event, colleagues know and recognize our scientists, are interested in their developments, follow the successes and achievements. This year, first-year postgraduate student Nikita Faddeev, second-year graduate student Tatiana Molodtsova and first-year graduate student Samir Hajiyev made poster presentations. Young scientists presented their reports on current scientific topics in English.
- This year we were particularly impressed by the high level of reports of foreign lecturers, as well as their degree of interest in working with young scientists, - said Nikita Faddeev. – We were very interested in the presentation at the conference as a lecturer by a business representative - Alexey Mikhailovich Kashin (CEO of the InEnergy Group of companies). His report was devoted to the formation of new markets for electrochemical energy sources. Alexey Mikhailovich's speech was the final one and caused a heated discussion, the topic of disputes was further cooperation and the possibility of bringing their developments to the average consumer.
Participation in the school-conference is a good opportunity for our young scientists to present their reports and developments, as well as to communicate with more experienced colleagues from different countries, exchange knowledge, opinions, and establish contacts.
