The project is aimed at creating highly efficient catalytic systems for producing polyalphaolefin oils from CO and H2. To do this, it is necessary to solve a number of scientific and practical problems aimed at substantiating the choice of a catalyst for the synthesis of α-olefins from CO and H2, determining optimal technological parameters and circuit solutions that ensure the achievement of consistently high process indicators in relation to their formation. Due to the fact that a mixture of internal and terminal olefins is formed during the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, another important task is to determine the conditions for the process of their oligomerization in order to obtain synthetic oils without an additional stage of separation of the resulting olefins, to determine the properties of the synthetic oils obtained.
Solving these problems will allow developing methods and approaches for creating modern domestic technologies for obtaining new high-quality products, in particular, polyalphaolefin oils, expanding the raw material base for their production, and will also contribute to import substitution and meeting the growing demand for environmentally safe high-quality lubricating oils, including those with improved low-temperature properties.
