Technology of electrochemical synthesis of electro- and photoactive materials based on transition metal oxides

The technology for the synthesis of electro- and photoactive materials consists in the electrochemical dispersion of two metal electrodes of semiconductor materials of the same area under the action of an alternating pulsed current in an aqueous electrolyte.

Synthesis options:

  • Constant mixing (300 rpm);
  • Continuous cooling of the electrolyte to ~50°C.

Varying the average density of alternating pulsed current makes it possible to obtain photo/electrocatalysts with different morphology, surface area, and functional properties.
