RNF № 20-79-10063
The project is dedicated to the development of science-based principles for the creation of materials and technologies for photoelectrocatalysis. As a result of the implementation of the project, the scientific and scientific and technical foundations will be laid for the creation of a new generation of unified devices for the direct conversion of solar energy into hydrogen or electricity, which will ensure Russia's position in the renewable energy market and will be an important step towards environmentally friendly and resource-saving energy . The developed principles will make it possible to create a photoelectrochemical power plant based on reversible fuel cells, designed for both hydrogen generation (photoelectrolyzer mode) and electricity generation (fuel cell mode) for use in renewable energy.
A feature of this project is a comprehensive engineering approach to the creation of photoelectrochemically active materials, effective design solutions and devices based on them. In addition, the project is also aimed at developing the scientific career of young scientists, forming an interdisciplinary research team, which can later become the basis of the scientific laboratory of materials and renewable energy technologies at the Platov South Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI).
