Purpose: to obtain a new generation of catalysts and electrocatalysts based on platinum deposited on nanostructured carriers of various nature (carbon, oxide); creation of models of electrochemical devices based on them; development of new non-destructive methods for certification of nanosized composite catalysts; creation of conditions for the effective reproduction of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel and the consolidation of young people in the field of science, education and high technologies. The following will be developed: highly efficient and selective anode and cathode electrocatalysts for alcohol fuel cells; electrochemical methods for the synthesis of highly efficient, CO-tolerant, Pt/C and Pt-M/C (M = Ni, Co) catalysts; methods for the synthesis and production of highly efficient Pt-M/C (M = Ni, Cu, Ag) electrocatalysts; methods for rapid assessment of electrocatalytic properties, corrosion and thermal stability of carriers and catalysts; catalysts for thermal afterburning of hazardous gases, in particular hydrogen and carbon monoxide; technique for electrochemical express analysis of the content and phase state of nickel, cobalt and platinum in nanosized composite catalysts. It is planned to manufacture a prototype of an electrochemical express analyzer of thin-film nanostructured catalysts. It is planned to create: laboratory models of alcohol fuel cells with high specific current characteristics; demonstration model of a compact reactor for CO afterburning.
